Sir please help me, whenever i try to run the game it runs thn close after 5-10 seconds showing this problem. Sometimes when i try to run repeatedly for 5-6 times it runs flawlessly. Please help me. Please

Im having the exact same problem too everytime i try to join a game it crashes like this

My game was runnig perfect for the last 2 weeks and 2 days ago all of a sudden started to give me that errror.

 

What i did was change the iw4m.dll with the one on the FAQ post here and also figured my playclaw teamspeak overlay crashs it too so also i close that when i run the game.

 

So make you sure you don't run any overlays or other games, apps, videos in the background that may use directx, direct3d etc. Also try the second .dll on the mentioned post if first does not work.

No man..!!! I am not using any of these things, it still is showing the same problem....

Click on "View Problem Details" and check what the error type is.

 

If it says BEX, then you will have to change Windows' DEP settings

Got the same problem over here.. But my m8 doesn't get the Error. he just installed and PLAY!..

I get the IW4M.DAT has stopped working Error All the time. Maybe it's something in the Settings? or 1 file to much?

Did you try to reinstall IW4M / MW2?

What does the console say?
