guys i m able to run the b3....but cant put any commands and stuff....I know d problem is related to my games_mp.log but how can i fix it please...i m sure that the path i have mentioned in b3.xml for game log file is correct....Please help me out

Try to delete your games_mp.log; restart your server and check if it generates a new one.

 

 

Every single browser i tried (ie, chrome, firefox) gave me some sort of error when i clicked on phpMyAdmin ... Stuck at step 1 , great start ...

 

Every time, the page was blank, or it displayed this connection error when u try to connect to an adress that doesnt exist ...

Make sure your wampserver is actually running (it should be a green icon). Otherwise reinstall it, or what MadKalzone said

I'll refer you, if you use MySQL you should put the port behind the localhost path (standard port: 3306), e.g.

mysql://b3:b3@localhost:3306/b3

Well, you probably specified the path wrong. Post your b3.xml, make sure to leave out any pw's and such.

What is games_mp.log are you using? Post the part of your b3.xml that contains the path to the log file.

It usually means that you're using the wrong games_mp.log. Sure you're not running a mod or anything? Delete the games_mp.log file, restart the server, and check if it generates a new log file.

Start wamp first (make sure the icon is green). If that doesn't work, try reinstalling.

Yes you can use XAMPP too. You need only the phpmyadmin thingy.

Create a database

• [*]Launch wamp, a green icon should appear. Left(!)click on it, and click on 'phpmyadmin'.

Your browser should open and redirect you to 'localhost/phpmyadmin'.

[*]Click on Databases, and create a new database. (I named it 'b3', to keep it simple).

[*]Click on your database (b3) and click on Privileges -> Add user.

It's green but,

When I move the mouse over wamp it says: WAMPSERVER - server offline

Should I be having IIS 7.5 on or not ?

Okay I skip the wamp step -.-

 

but now I'm having a games_mp.log error lol, I read the previous posts... I couldn't find games_mp.log anywhere ( I don't even know where it should be replaced ) so ?

 

Also I'm applying this for iw5m, does this make any difference?

If you're running a mod, games_mp.log will be on that mod's folder.

Otherwise, it will be on m2demo folder.
