So i manually installed Fourdeltaone in to my Modernwarfare 2 folder in Steamapps/Common, It extracted the files and i ran LaunchIW4M.exe. A command prompt window appears for a split second and then dissapears. Then nothing happens other than when i try to end the process iw4m.exe, it doesn't allow me. After this I also tried the regular installer, it extracts the files, i go to the start menu and click play IW4m and nothing happens

is this what you were talking about? I cut off some of it because it took too much space. Sorry if this is completely not what you needed, i dont really know how to use this program

I just followed the instructions in the video so I opened iw4m.exe (iw4m.dat renamed) instead of the LaunchIW4m.exe

Is this the correct dependency walker log? Does this say anything about why it doesnt work?

Delete caches.xml, iw4m.dll and libnp.dll from Local/IW4M and try again

I deleted them, launched LaunchIW4m.exe again, and it simply redownloaded them and then showed a brief command prompt window and nothing happened.

Can anyone tell me what the log means? whats wrong? Sorry, i just really want to play 4d1 and its been almost a week

No, i had this same problem with the first time i launched AlterIW, I cant remember how i fixed it though, im pretty sure an update fixed it.

I looked both in my Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 folder and my Users/"User"/Appdata/Local/IW4M Folder and i did not find any iw4m.ini or credui.dll

So what should i try next?

Try making an iw4m.ini file in your game directory, containing your username on one line, and your password on a line below, like this:
