When i start a Privat Match people cant join my lobby with Hamachi.

But i can join other peoples lobby with Hamachi .

My Nat is Open in normal Mw2(steam) people can join me but in FD1 they cant

Don't even use Hamachi just give people your IP then in console they should type /connect

Don't use hamachi if it's not working...

Make sure that port 28960 is forwarded and give people your external ip for them to connect.

As already said, don't use hamachi.

 

Also try to turn off hamachi (killing the process in task manager can help) I'm not sure why or how but my friends couldn't join me if I had hamachi on.

i closed and i killed it from task manager.

Make sure your friend also have an Open NAT.

He has because he can join to my other friend

and i can join to my friend too

 

but they cant join to my lobby

Do you have multiple connections enabled?

(Like a LAN and a Wireless) to the same router?

If so, try to disable one of them and forward the ports to the internal IP of the other connection.

firewalls, antivirusses, ... turn it all off and check again

He and another friend can join me (only via Hamachi)

Still me and the other friend can not join my brother.

 

 

Without Hamachi:

I tried it several times. In the Era of AlterIWnet they could join my lobby without Hamachi. Forwarded every singel Port to my PC then to my brother.

 

Me haz Xp, brother haz windows 7(I'm not experienced in Win7, dunno what security thingies it have)

If you're sure that the ports are correctelly forwarded on the router, then either he has the ports blocked on windows firewall, or he has his network type set as "public" and not "home" network. In theory, it should work with any type, if you open the port in the firewall for that specific connection type. In practice, I've seen some people having problems just because of the network type they selected.

Another thing... since he has hamachi installed, you should check something else. Go to network and sharing center, on the left, click on "change adapter settings". On the new window, press ALT (on the keyboard). A toolbar will show up on top. Click "advanced" then "advanced settings". Move the adapter that you want to use to the top of the list (hamachi if you want them to connect through hamachi IP or local area connection if you want them to connect through the external ip). Press OK to apply the changes.

After you checked all the above, restart the computer and then create a lobby and try again.

but 1 there is another quetion wiht mods.

When i start a mod than i can play wiht it but when my friend want to join me it says downloding something and he get kicked. We tried it again when he had the mod also but it didnt worked..

add _svr_ in front of the mod (e.g. _svr_isnipe.iwd)

ok first i need to open my fd1 and than go to mods and launch the i snipe mod or where do i have to write svr?

Open the host's MW2 folder. Then open "mods" folder. Open the folder corresponding to the mod that you're using.

You'll have atleast 1 .iwd file there (ignore or delete the .log files). Rename that/those .iwd file/files.

Let's suppose you got there a file named "promod.iwd". Rename that file to "z_svr_promod.iwd".

Wasn't it "z_svr_" ? Or does "_svr_" work aswell? .
