The nutshell is for over 7 days now since a steam update they have broken the game matching

the only game mode that works for the past week is TDM every other game type is gone.

 

I AM TALKING about the Official Original Game Matching Server not in 4D1s modification

 

Try joining any lobby for any other game mode other than TDM on the original

modern warfare 2 multiplayer you will find every game type no lobbies exist other than TDM

 

Please read the thread i made i urge everyone who owns this game to get in touch with

steam support and activision and force them to fix this whole mess.

 

Yes FourDeltaOne works amazing and we all are so lucky this project exists as without it

we cannot play our legit purchased multiplayer game.

 

but steam/activision cannot and should not be-allowed to get away with this!

we all paid good money to purchase this game and they are refusing to fix this!

 

Activision state it's a steam issue, and steam just says contact activision

without help and support and without people making a fuss nothing will be fixed.

 

just hoping everyone see's just how important this is to get fixed!

because one day fourdeltaone will no doubt end up being shut down

 

and when it does when you go back to original match making all you will find

is TDM working and no other game types!

 

hope to god this project never gets shut down because at the moment everyone

needs this to actually play online multiplayer since the official game modes are broken.

you need to have a LEGIT LEGALLY STEAM Purchased copy of Modern Warfare 2 As this modification actually checks you have steam & the legit purchased game before it even works,

aka Activision already dropping support for MW2

I have thought something for a LONG time... I believe (In my mind) that Activision has stopped the fight, and is taking this as an opportunity to drop support for MW2. And if this is indeed true, I will love it all the bit more.

I guess they will just focus on CrapOps 2 now

because 5000000 people know about steam and when there is an issue

they no doubt go there to read forums to see if anyone else is having an issue with the game.

 

also it helps to advertise fourdeltaone and let everyone else who can not play online

with the official original game finally get some peace and enjoyment by finally being able to play.

 

As for what you said about him doing it right this time great i hope your right

because everyone who owns this game soon will have no other option but to rely on NT and this project.

 

also there is lots of chances the server could go offline, get technical issues.

get completely over run by players or one day NT could just say "had enough shut down everything"

 

then all the people who own this game will be in serious trouble

if they ever try to shut this project down by explaining without this project everyone who

bought owned the game would be totally screwed if not for this projects origins.

 

comes to something when you have to soley rely on 3rd party's to fix and make the game playable.

with all the money steam/activision makes and all the money they spend on lawyers to force the previous project off the net, and all the time they are doing that their own gaming system are not working correctly, it's ironic they shut down a project that keeps their games working when they full well know their own official systems are completely messed up.

Telling lawyers "Hey, we were just fixing their game for everyone who bought it without their permission" wouldn't get them out of a lawsuit.
