But it's already available!

That was I counting on.

Releasing "their" public svn repository... It's just a same shit, different name, why they need to release it...

Due to the GNU license we have to make it public ;)

Just found that out? Or cause NTA said that about 5 MONTHS AGO????

First of all: There is no LICENSE file in the source, a file that should exist in every project that is under the GNU License(no LICENSE file = no license, so you can use it for what ever you want and do whatever you want with it), so before you say anything like that think a bit ;). Ill also have to ask NTA which GNU License the code is under so I can include the correct LICENSE file.

Second: Who the hell said that we did not make the code public?: https://github.com/Cheezeaza/aRevM2 its 2 months old, of course its not the last version we have in the SVN, but I plan to move all my code to that github repo soon, so we do not need to create an svn account for anonymous access ;)

Excuses, excuses and excuses. Lame ones at that.

Its not that you have to make the code you stole from our svn public as much as the code NTA copied directly from Quake (all of the info_getvalueforkey stuff plus the server list) which IS distributed with a GNU licence which requires your source to be public.

I know that the server list code is from Quake, that's obvious, he is using dpMaster after all. But the fact is that if someone does not know that the code uses Quake source code will think that its not under any GNU License.

You are quite desperate/intent on defending yourself/aRev. You know what?

It's wasted effort. And time.

Im defending myself, not aRev. I dont give a fuck about what the hell you say about aRev, I care about what do you say ABOUT ME. I joined aRev ~1 month ago(mainly because I see that it'll be really hard to be a developer here, in 4D1)so do not say that all aRev developers are the same "shit"(as you usually say)because Im not one.

Excuses? I do not get your point. As I've already said I joined aRev ~1 month ago, I can not do anything about things that happened before I joined the staff, but some of you seem to not know that there was a public repo with the m2 code there, as the LICENSE states.

wat.

The code I wrote to make it work with NetworkService and the friends list(and a ongoing favorite servers list ;), code which is already included in my working repo in my github account)

nocomment./

Then why the hell do you write a post? xD

You need to chill. Yes, the FD1 svn was open to everyone and yes you are writing a derivative program of it, yes it is legal, and yes you are an idiot...

I have not insulted you ;) Then why the hell do you all give a fuck about and create topics like this...? I can not really understand that, anyway /requestlock
