Also, you are not supposed to add IW4M as non-steam game, just run "Play IW4M" from startmenu and your steam status will be "in-game playing MW2".

 

Nope. When launched from IW4M.EXE it would say "chineseguy online".

 

Can NTA please fix this? This might help people with friend list problems.

I didnt say anything about IW4M.exe, I told you to use "Play IW4M" shortcut in the startmenu.

Also nothing in this thread is related to "friend list", so what you talking about?

 

My status is not "playing mw2". And I heard the friends list comes from your steam account.... so....

Friendlist isn't finished like SerPo said.

 

And that status only shows up when you have the original game on steam afaik
