So let's properly start working on this. I hope that at some point people will start to work on this as well, so we can reach the goal of doing this next saturday, but there is a lot of work to do before that.

 

I've drawn up a document in google docs, if you haven't seen it, query or PM me you google account, so I can add you as editor. I explained in there how to properly add your ideas etc.

 

Now, I think it is best if we get a bit of an overview of who wants to participate in this, and who will be doing what.

 

I will name some things that need to be done, and you can post here with the things you would like to do, or if you have other ideas of things we can do, post them to the google doc and here as well.

 

• Players: People who will be joining the server before release, and spread out over all server when the game is public.

• Speakers: People who will be joining the "public" mumble/skype conversations throughout the stream

• Streamers: Note: Tatar is probably doing this, but if that doesn't work out, who has the proper hardware and connection, and wants to do this?

• Matchup players: Probably Tech Support and Regional Mods only, as seen in the Document. Basically a "professional" matchup of 4v4-8v8 depending on who wants to participate. Will be commentated and organised by Overkill (hopefully)

• Discussion Topics: This can be a variety of subjects, from interviews to reviewing a mod, for example. Be sure to include your idea when enlisting to this. (preferrably add it to the document as well ;p)

• Q&A with the staff: Basically users can ask staff members anything. We need a host (I might like to do this, but don't let that discourage you in enlisting for it) and people who will be in the skype/mumble session to answer the questions.

 

That is all I can think of right now, but be sure to keep adding ideas!

Gotcha, I'll educate myself on Mumble tonight. To reiterate what I said before, if Tatar can be the one to stream the video on the livestream, that would be great, and I can connect to him with mumble chat (If he wants to commentate as well, that would be great. Two is always better than one).

gaminitupp will be streaming, as tatar is away at that time. But it will still work the same; everyone who will participate will need to be on at least IRC and prefferably Mumble, preferrably an hour in advance. Of course, everyone who wants to participate in any of the voiced parts, you need to be on mumble. The server is fourdeltaone.net. Check OP to see what events are voiced and are for everyone to join. The reason I need people to join in advance is so I/we can get everything set up, so we can efficiently switch between events during streams.

To clear all issues on timezones, check the countdown, it leads to the start of the stream, because there has been a lot of confusion about when it starts.
