I've compiled the 3 files in the main folder and then i started iw4m.exe, then i get the error mss32.dll missing. I've already searched on the internet and i say some websites where u can download those files but they look a bit dodgy. Anyways does anyone know a solution?

Thanks in advance

Just install the files in the 'redist' folder and see if that helps

Trying to load the game via steam also does the same thing

No offense, but you guys are all idiots. (Besides DidUknowIpwn)

You put the .dll file in windows>system32(or/and wow64) and then start it. I doubt it will fix it, as you will probably get another error... You need to install the latest version of DX. (DX9 is good)

....ugh.... i tried again after 15 min but now there seems to be binkw32.dll to be missing and not mss32.dll

Binkw32.dll is for the Bink Video Codec and Best solution is probably to reinstall mw2...

yea i'll try to verify chache in steam first maybe that'll do the trick.... anyways thanks for your help.

i was stupid enough to place the files you have to download for iw4m in the /main folder and not the root folder... i think you did the same thing...so just place the 3 files u downloaded in the modern warfare 2 folder and place the raw.iwd in /main folder. it solves it i think.
