Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way i can change my FOV ingame, when i set the command in cfg the games crash. Ive been looking for something that will make my fov larger, but i have not found one yet, i have been looking in the forum for other topic like this, but i did not find any or I'm just blind. If this has been posted I'm sorry for spamming. But do anyone know how to change the FOV perm?

yeah just press ^ ingame that opens the config line. delete the upcoming ^ and write /cg_fov XX (any number from 65-90)

 

And if you are on a server where it resets every time you die just bind it.

example: ^ -> /bind x (or any other button) cg_fov XX .

Ii tought cg_fov 80 was the maximum? and then cg_fovscale 1.125 makes it 90, but fovscale is not allowed unless it's devmap

Yea i believe you i just played and fucked around with console too much at cod4 x)

Try pressing В¬ in game and typing in /bind "Button" cg_fov "65-90" will work just everytime u go into a game you need to press that button

Make in your Folder "player" in the File "config_mp.cfg" this Code:

 

Press in Game "w" and you have fov_85

 

bind w "+forward; cg_fov 85"

If you update to the latest revision, you don't need to bind a key to cg_fov 80

Adding that line to your config is stupid...

Don't think its stupid, but either way i used the console command ^^

whoever told this guy to bind the key with fov, you fail to read lmaobox's post

 

I am sure you can change it in in-game console with /cg_fov 90 command, it will be stored in config_mp.cfg file.

 

If it does not save then you would need to update your raw.iwd and iw4m.dll to rev22
