Guys who are having problem connecting server when it shows " connection timed out " .

here is a fix , its silly but it worked for me...

1) go to the time and date setting on the right bottom of your screen.

2) select internet time and update it .

3) now run the game , if it works THANK me or if not sorry mate you have to wait for the fix.

i have solution for the server connection!

 

go to the map where cod mw3 is installed. the delete all files with ''steam'' in it, !except steam_api.dll!!!

 

i dont know why or how but I found this with luck and worked for me. plz tell me if it worked or not.

Login to your router interface, disable your router firewall and forward port '3074'. It would be good if you mentioned your router model

i found i solution i just enter the same server it works for me :|

update your computer time online. u know how to do that right?

lets save the day:

1st - delete all rules on iw5m created on ur router

2nd - make an exception on ur firewall for iw5m

3rd - go to windows control panel -> network and internet -> network devices -> right click on ur router -> properties -> settings(wait some time)-> add->

give a name to the rule (ex: iw5m), type ur ip (go to cmd and type ipconfig for ur ip), then choose UDP and write 3074 on the two textboxes then ok -> ok

and thats it.

 

sometimes router user interface dont work well(mostly on thomson series), making it on windows works every time

u can also connect 2 times to the same server, it works as well
