I just did, IW5M is having problems. No idea why NTA's already gone to bed, when he reads it then maybe he will check on this. Most people are able to play, maybe like 20-30 people can't.

 

Sadly I'm one of those 20-30 lol I'm sure NTA will have it fixed before we know it though.Unless we're just doing something wrong :?

i already played iw5m alpha and worked fine

i guess then problem is in players folder

i hope nta listen to all this ppl (20-30) and help us xD

i have the same problem. to some servers its connecting for ever and then a server connection timeout occurs. i'm using the latest untouched steam files with all dlc files and updated dlc-iwds.

5% of the members in my clan clan play... none of our admins / mods can.. I think the estimation is just a tad higher than 20-30 my friend.

 

Fine I'll go to sleep now and hope I see a resolution when I wake up.. if not then I have no choice but to resort back to Teknogods (which is really a last resort for me..)

Hi guys

 

Well after 1 hour I found the solution of my problem and that you have it too about stucking at "Connecting..."

 

So the solution is :

 

1)Download the tools of Dedicated Server from steam , and about 30 seconds press STOP DOWNLOADING !

2)Put the MW3 folder you have it already in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3

3)Only cut/copy the folders as zone , main etc...

4)Press RESUME DOWNLOADING (it will updates some stuff)

5)Make a new folder into the MW3 steam folder with name dw

6)Finally enjoy

I have followed same procedure still no help....but my friend took my files and ran in his pc it worked for him...but mine still stuck at connecting....it really sux when you see your server in the list and see your clan members playing in your server and you are among one who cannot connect...plz help...many ppls are having this trouble.

I know how you feel, I'm the main administrator for the CoDD Clan, all the people on Trial can currently connect, but none of my Co-Admins or Moderators can connect... :/

Sadly I'm having the same problem, and something tells me that this affects at least 90% of all players since most servers in the serverlist are empty. I mean... IW5M is awesome, but the majority of people are having this issue. It's quite curious because on the first day of IW5M public release, I didn't have this problem. I hope NTA can find out the problem soon enough.

I have the legit version since it came out in november and i haven't be able to get into a server i have the same problem here as the legit version of the game "server connection timed out" the only way that i can play is on matchmaking and that really sucks.

please change the fucking title of this thread, its not a solution, it worked for no one and it brings false hope to anyone who has this problem.
