Hi, when i'm starting to download an update with LaunchIW5M.exe i get this error and downloading canceling

I launch LaunchIW5M.exe as administrator. Can anyone help ?

hmm...try using this tool and take ownership of your entire MW3 folder.

Yup that's true but that won't fix your error though.. also since you're running through Program File (x86) it won't be able to change it. So move it out of that folder -put it on the desktop- run LaunchIW5M.exe again and then put it back when it's done.

I coppied all mw3 folder in desktop but when i launch LaunchIW5M.exe appeared same error or sometimes this. Why client couldn't be in winrar or install just like iw4m ?

I run as administrator also i take ownership.

Create a new folder on your Desktop.

Copy there all the content of your IW5M folder (what you shown on the print)

Start LaunchIW5M.exe on that folder on your Desktop.

Say goodbye to folder permission issues.

 

Then you can move that folder anywhere you want an it will still work.

It don't work with moving to desktop. How to fix

There is the solution:

 

1. right click on the launchiw5m.exe

2. go to properties

3. if read only is fill click on it and this will disable the "read only"

Go into your zone/english folder and press ctrl + a so you select all the files then right click on one of the files while they are all selected and untick the box that says Read-Only. Then try running the Launch IW5M program. If the error presists go into your main folder and do the same thing only this time apply to all subfolders as well.
