I believe we should try to do a little better, than already being done - though I understand it's quite an effort, to spread the word about 4D1.

Yes, I've seen the Social Media pages, but there's something more we could do imho. And that would be to contact the larger and well known clans to have their servers on 4D1.

We could easily reason with them for features such as better support, mods, custom textures, SAPs, and whatnot.

 

I strongly believe that most people are quite unaware of the project's arrival and the great possibilities it offers, else they'd not have been on other rip-off "communities" just being reluctant.

I agree. We need to get more word out about this. My clan, GSN Gaming has setup a few servers here in the USA, and can provide more if need be. We have the resources. We will do our best to get the word out. I think we need to get more guys like Rechyyy to help. We'll do anything we can to get the word out.

+1. If we could get the old servers off the bloody "x" and onto IW4M, there'd be more servers, and some players would follow them.

They may have defected, but they are pretty much a bigass clan, had like over 30 servers in aIW, so yea >repz.

We should actually contact all large and well known clans.

I also think we should be hosting temporary servers on the rip-offs and run announcements about le coolness of 4D1 within the servers. Purely business.

I would guess it would be a good idea to front some of the great possibilities 4D1 offers. Some of these would be mod support, client-side download, dedicated servers, source code for the client, etc.
