For some reason when I play online and look up I get about 250 fps but when I play private match and look up its about 500 and my ping online is about 80-100 and in private match it's 20 could this be why there is a difference in FPS?

That's normal. Your CPU etc have to load the players, bullets, ...

And you get a low ping if you are the host.

Also the color correction for zombie mod makes the sky darker, with fog that might also be an problem, unlock dvars and use r_fullbright
