I am trying to run more then one server, but it will not allow me to change the port. Anyone else have this issue? Any work around?

 

Also, is there a way to bind to IP yet?

also I thought it's +set net_port 27015 instead?

I don't know about the first issue since I never experienced it.

 

About the second, net_ip command should do it:

I edit the net_queryPort on my command line in FireDaemon as well as a short cut I made to the server. I got the same result on both. The console tells me it is write protected as the server is booting up.

I have the same issue.

The 'write protected' error happens during execution of the configuration file, the +set in the command line does not get executed in your case as you wrote it 'net_queryport', with a lowercase p.

Hi,your port is in use to another program process,I resolve this problem locating the process using a software that recognizes the program using the port!

This software solve my problem,and the problem was iTunes,the iTunes use port 27015 and always appears net_queryPort is write protected!

I uninstalled iTunes and voilГЎ,the port can be use!!
