I have a question about level hack in a specific case.

As my pc is way to slow, i will probalby never really play IW5M online, but I love to create mods. So the thing is, I want to create a mod, that modifies some things concernig some weapons, but as my pc is way to slow to level up on a server to unlock those weapons am I allowed to use a lvl hack in this case?

I wanted to work on some xlrstats webfront but I'm stuck because I don't have stuff unlocked to even see wich attachments go with each weapons and so on.

I tried to play a bit this afternoon to try to level up, but with this pingy connection of mine, I didn't even level 1 level...

A rule is a rule. Doubt you will allowed to level hack since the aCI will catch up with you and ban you. The only way is playing I guess.

If I remember correctly level hacking is expressly prohibited under any circumstance.

Maybe some staff member will confirm this.

That's still an offense. When that account gets banned for level hacking, this one will also be banned for ban evasion. Maybe if NTA or someone "higher up" can give you special rights.... you can try requesting that, but it will most probably be denied.

That's not a solution since that account would get banned.

I was thinking about it and came up with some random idea of some modders have access to some "test accounts" with everything unlocked or something.

Anyway, I think that NTAuthority is busy with other stuff now, to have time to think about and implement such.

K,thx, but I think I have an idea how it could be possible.

I was gonna try to use the game's console, but seems that it only works for rcon...

I don't think it's possible to load scripts into private matches at this point.

You could always just ask someone to run through one prestige for you and get them to PM you the username and password. The only way this rule is 'fair' is if you've never invested a significant amount of time in the Steam version, though; I worked hard for those golden guns! But alas.

 

Or, get a bot mod, set up a private server, set the bots to do nothing, and just continuously shoot them; but that's not an option at this point AFAICT.

 

It only takes a couple of hours to do it (equivalent Steam level of 47 or so) anyways.
