You might be running two instances of the game or there is something which is using your game. Please give your PC a restart and launch the game as an administrator.

Like the error says, it cannot update your game files "because it is being used by another process".

Search on your PC if something is using your game files.

If you are on Seven/Vista, did you launch the lancher with administrator rights ?

i face the same error and i've done anything which was said such as runing program as admin and restarting the PC but nothing happened plz help me plz

Make sure that the game's folders aren't set as "read-only" on it's properties.

That's the only explanation that I can find for it, on a XP system.

Also, delete any .cpart or .deco files on \zone\english\ folder before you run the updater on the next time.

I found on windows 7 if you put the installer in a folder on your desktop and the mss32.dll file from your mw3 install, then run it, it will download everything and you can just copy it over to your mw3 install.

restart your PC and also try changing your game location

I found on windows 7 if you put the installer in a folder on your desktop and the mss32.dll file from your IW5 install, then run it, it will download everything and you can just copy it over to your IW5 install.

Actually this should be given a try...

And if you add localization.txt, you can keep running the updater there, to get the next updates.
