Ask your friend to start a map trought console or Private MAtch

After go u to teh Console -> /connect your.friends.ip

 

If won't work you need to open your ports or just use hamachi and hamachi IP. Easy.

 

If your friend have lower IQ than 50 ask him to enter to http://google.com "my ip adress"

    This is what i would do..

     

    1-Host a Private match

    2-Use the internal IP address and connect from the console eg- "/connect 192.168.1.2"
