when i try to open the game the updater update files the splash screen appear and i got an error box say "iw5m.dat has stopped working", can any one help pls

If you bought the game trough steam then do the "Verify integrity of game chache" action. It might fix any missing/corrupted files. Make sure you've updated all your GPU drivers as well.

Nor does anti-virus. Op should start the game with administrator access and also try using compatibility (I know that win7 supports the game, but it generally helps)

Well..It happens with Norton
