In all honesty, I like MW3 the most. The weapons don't seem so overpowered, they're all pretty much even for their classes (type95 could be an exception though). I agree with The_InHuman when he said that stopping power totally ruined the game/balance. In a 1v1 firefight, without considering cover, aim or any such other factor, if 2 players start shooting at each other at the same time, generally the one having stopping power will win no matter what guns they're using. No stopping power means a wider variety of perks to choose. Also there's no mw2 ump-like weapon that kills in 3 hits at a distance (yeah, mk14 is an exception but it's semi-auto). There's not as much bullshit, no commando, no last stand (perk, the deathstreak version is still there though) and tubes aren't that much of a mass destruction weapon. In the overall, it's just a better game in my opinion. Feel free to think whatever you want to think.

That isn't very helpful. I'm looking for something that'd fix my problem without lowering the quality.

1. Nerfed Akimbo G18 and buffed Riot Shield 2. More objective-based gametypes. The idea of implementing "Rush" from battlefield was nice. 3. A new server browser which has an "add favorite" feature Not sure if you accept weapon balancing tho, here's my idea anyway. Make the G18s semi-auto, the full-auto variant being an attachment. Make said attachment non-compatible with akimbo (the same way you can't have akimbo and rds). When players have the Riot Shield, make them less vulnerable to knives, maybe something like taking 2 slices/stabs to kill. (it's a mainly melee weapon, why does the knife prevail over it anyway?)

As the title says, I'm having some trouble with FPS. When I'm in a room or in a closed area, it's 60 (com_maxfps is 125). If i start moving, it goes down to about 40/50. On maps like Afghan, it doesn't go beyond 30. Now, you'd say "well, lower the graphics". Thing is, on steam the game works smooth and with no FPS drops at all. Graphic settings are the same, my PC can handle MW2 without troubles and I keep all the quality settings to extra (only anti-aliasing is off) on a 1680x1050 resolution. Tried with both vsync on and off, nothing changed. Here's my PC specs anyway... Intel i3 2120 @3.30GHz Asus P8H61 EVO motherboard 8GB DDR3 RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT440 All drivers are up to date.

As the title says, are there any deathstreakless servers? Possibly in europe? Tried using search, no results. I know about promod, but I don't like the removed killstreaks/perks.
