If you take a GT 650 Ti it would be "a lot" better for not to much money more. http://nl.hardware.info/vergelijkingsta ... 059-163616 I would take this one: http://us.hardware.info/productinfo/163 ... ion-1gd5oc *Sorry for the dutch, but numbers are numbers And a i5 is good enough for gaming, HT doesn't do a shit whith the most games. (Some exeptions) But honestly I think 900 is much for this rig included screen. Is it OEM or are you going to build himself? EDIT: I see it's a OEM, building one yourself you should really consider as a good option...

Nah not totally true. The eye does indeed does not see more then 30 fps. But the problem with game is: it isn't a movie. So you have to look to frametimes. How long is the time of one frame: 60fps = 16.67 frames per milliseconds. The problem with game engines is that they cant offer you a steady framerate time. Some frames are harder to calcalute then an another... So if you have 60 fps but ur PC calculates 59 frame @ 10 ms and then one frame @ 410ms = Then you have 60fps but you will experience lag. This graph is a 7950 vs 660 Ti @ BF3, Medium http://content.hwigroup.net/images/arti ... medium.png U clearly see that the nVidia card (green) has major lag spikes. But it has 101 fps... This is one example somethimes nVidia is better, sometimes AMD it is depandant on the engine of the game. I hope this clears a bit out? @TS: Drive sweeper and reinstal the driver. Or try to measure the frame times, I tought you can do it with Fraps...
