I do have bootcamp (Use it for some schoolwork, have a legit license from my university) but I prefer spending my time in OSX. Worst comes to worst I will use bootcamp but a wine/cider port would be awesome.

If this whole Activision thing has been a huge April fools joke I'm going to kill someone. lol

I can do that too no problem....I just would prefer to play in cider for better performance.

I'm just wondering if steam will interfere with this. And I always thought m1 didn't work on wine because it used NET framework 3.5 which wasn't compatible with wine.

So there was some prior work on getting IW4M2 to work on OSX using the cider wrapper. Just wondering if anyone knows whether the steam authorization will break the ability to use MW2 on OSX?
