People always complain about "campers" on MW3, or any Call of Duty game. (I see what you did there, 4D1)

Do you think campy is nooby or do you not care about it.

 

I personally think it is not nooby because it is a certain playstyle.

Maybe some do not wanna go out hunting for people and wanna play it safe.

Now I'm not gonna get into an argument where real marines stay safe and blah blah blah....

 

What do you think?

Playing defensifely is OK, camping is not.

A certain playstyle would be being careful-noiseless with all guns suppressed (like a silent ninja!) But just staying in a place waiting for opponents to be caught in your trap is a really stupid thing. And the thing i hate most is when you try to reason with the camper of duty and he just can't argue and says "you are noob" or "cry cry" or start being rude. They should be instantly kicked imho

I would say that person is far from being a noob. I'd say they're an experienced player that has found a load out that works for them.

They are due to. I personally hate all campers. But when it comes to the DOME 24/7 with 18 players, I hate when people complain that others camp and spawnkills. For DOME 24/7 is a completely different thing. Especially if there are 18 players. Since one can not really complain that someone spawnkills. first of all, in order that the person has chosen to run DOME 24/7 for the second all spawnkilling on DOME 24/7. I mean if you see an enemy you shoot him of course. So what I mean is that you can not complain about people camping or spawnkilling the dome 24/7 for it is they themselves who have chosen to play dome 24/7. But otherwise, I think camping is the worst game way. Because it is easy and you just need to wait for others. Note that I'm talking about all the courses. Besides DOME 24/7 with 18 players. So really, yes! the camp is nooby

I think the opposite. People who cry about someone's play style should go away and make their own server where they can enforce their own rules. If you're worried about someone sitting in the same spot killing you over and over, you know where they are. Go and take them out. I mean, how hard can it be to kill someone that is staying in the same spot?

It's an easier way to get the higher killstreaks, but once the enemy knows you're there he will come for you, and if they have some experience with a semtex or an rpg. That was what i encountering when I was a n00b back in MW2.

 

I like to play really stealth crouched or prone, silenced, assassin pro and go flank them and get them from behind which is a little bit campy/defensive but keeps me alive to get ac-130 or ospreys (I still never got a MOAB on TDM/DOM or FFA and I see here a lot of people bragging they get so many MOABS), nobody got a MOAB when I was playng. Only if they had an aimbot back on Tekno. I guess you have to be either incredibly skilled or have noob enemies.

Portable Radar is smart camper's best friend. I do a lot of spawn traping cause I needed a lot of kills to prestige, cause all I need in this game is a MP7, MP9, semtex and portable radar.

And when I mean smart camper I mean there are two types of campers, the n00bs that sit in one place, you see the killcam and semtex the shit out of him, and smart campers that use a portable (I don't know why people dont use assassin'pro, it's the best perk by miles) and move cause if you kill him he will come for you, so you need to switch your position. i killed a guy like 6-7 times by keep switching the position. Let's say Iw as in a corner he trows a semtex and autofires to that corner enters the room and "suprise madafaka!" I'm behind the door and get him killed, then I'm on the other side of the door and so on, it's really frustrating, I learned that long time ago in MW2.

Also a good tip against campers, If you kill a camper in a place go check that place again...he will be there.

 

 

And if you use dual-fmgs yeah you're a noob. Akimbo is noobish. INMW2 was g18, now it's FMG. Fortunatly if you have some distance you can kill them really easy.

Camping is cool kill me once maybe twice if i am raging out , but the third time i will trade out my secondary for a sub machine gun , semetex and flash you and then i will take you out that simple . It's a play style it's not nooby it doesn't kill you from the other end of the map and it doesn't stop you from getting close to them if you have a nice flash or stun in your pocket .

 

And btw akimbo isn't nooby it never was , i will take you on with a nice sniper or assault rifle at long range , at medium range a nice sub machine gun and at close range the striker will pwn the shit out of you . Very simply the akimbo weapons are the jack of all trades master of none if you find a good player in his environment he will still tak eyou out even if you have the bad mouthed fmg9 akimbo .

there are only two things i find noobish

one is granade launcher and the other is automatic shotgun

It's an overpowered weapon, that's why is noobish. Many consider MP7 noobish too, everthing that is efficient is noobish. But now tell me, how the f I am supposed to kill a akimbo guy when let's sau I skip aiming, mp7 fires well without ADS, I do dropshot all the time, and still get killed sometimes, cause he has twice as many bulltets and maybe greater fire rate, here I don't know I use silencer+ rapid fire or extended mags+rapid fire.

 

And the interesting thing is that GL is not noobish, now, is purely dumb, it has been nerfed so bad. I tried to do an achievment with GL and had a hard time and i got killed so many times. In MW2 I was a noob and I remember playng with Scar-H, RDS+GL, and I was quite "good" compared to normal weapons. Oh yeah and I remember when I was playng with the RPG, I was the top player, I killed everone because it was so strong in MW2 with Danger Close, just aim at the floor and everone died... I got kicked by admin.

 

And yeah I used akimbo skorpions like 2 months when mw3 was new as a primary weapon, I am a much better player with MP7 only. Good at close, good at medium, and works even at long range, buit it takes more bullets, it's fine cause it has no recoil.

Well i now how to kill him learn trafic patterns to avoid people with akimbo weapons and stay the fuck away from them , then use a weapon well suited for long range and take them out from 30 or 40 meters away .

Like I said above every weapon has its good and bad if you don't want to use them it's ok but they are not overpowered i will take you fmg9 akimbo in a small room with with my striker any day . So think this way no matter the situation there is a gun that 9/10 will beat the akimbo fmg9 ( i am using the fmg9 as an example the scorpions are good too but the fmg9 has the most hate ) in that specif situation.

I believe i have mentioned them in my previous post . Maybe you aren't good enough to just go around the map and shooting when you see them , maybe you need to study the traffic patterns and set up your fights before they start so you now they turn out your way (THIS DOESN'T MEAN CAMPING ).

 

And btw the Gl i was talking about was the mw2 GL as it is one of the better exemple of an actual overpowered gun in gaming versus most of them which are just popular guns in the end .

There's a fine line between "camping" and "playing smart" ..People generally overlook this line.

Now, personally, I just HATE sitting in a corner. For me, it just kills the meaning of a game but i don't run around calling people campers because they sat in a spot and killed me. Maybe the guy heard me and and was waiting for an easy kill rather than an adventurous death. That's smart. This is one of the major problems of the community.

Camping and aiming into one spot hopign that noone comes from ur sides is noboy but running back and forth in a certain area is completely fine in my opinion.

I use this strategy in most of the maps and its effective. Im just not a pro player who can rush in and get a quad feed, I take it steadily

I got no problems with campers, most just stay in the exact same spot. So they are easy to kill. If you really want to piss them off keep a eye on the score board and when someone is close to a moab hit em with a smaw.

There's a difference between staying in one spot, actually camping on a spawn or something, versus strategically holding an area.

 

The latter is what seems to piss people off the most, because it's harder to counter someone intelligently defending a location from varying positions.

 

My play style is a mix of smart rushing and tactically clearing/holding an area. If I want to prevent a team from taking a point in DOM, they're going to have a hard time taking it. That's just how the maps are designed, either deal with it or play something else, I say.

theres a difference between waiting for someone when you are alerted and someone who goes prone in some corner and waits there whole match to get 1 or 2 kills.

 

Well, someone said that that is not the problem because you can watch killcam and track his location. The problem starts when you are on 20 plus killstreak and the other guy has Assassin.

Camping is a legitimate tactic. As many have already stated a good camper knows when to move. I enjoy the reaction of people who commit suicide by trying to get me out of an area I decide to hold. There are many smart players who succeed, there are more idiots who don't. I don't sit in a single spot, more a particular area. I get a kill, then move to a position where I can watch the spot I was in. The idiots I speak of always try to get revenge and fail drastically. The smart players know better.
