I plays on 1680x1050 (16:10) resolution/ratio.

All things are a little bit tighten up, for example fonts and especially sniper scope. It's oval, not round anymore. 16:10 looks like 16:9

How can i fix it?

i tried the Widescreen fixer, but didnt work, because not iw5mp_server.exe what i used.

What is the max resulotion your monitor can handle? Above HD Resolution or just Full-HD? then you should use 1920x1080 or 1280x720.

My monitors max (native) resulotion is 1680x1050 (16:10)!

the problem is that maybe mw3 isnt compatible with 16:10. i dont know

Just go to advanced video options and set the "aspect ratio" as "auto"

Check the sniper! is it round? Not oval?

this is a 16:9 pictures. But my monitor is 16:10 :x

Have you tried windowed with no borders?

Maybe that helps.

Try setting your aspect ratio to 16:9 then 4:3 and see if it changes/fixes it?..

Running game in 16:10 only stretches to screen so everything is out of shape. You have to run it in windows mode no borders to make it improve what you see. Only problem running in windows mode is that it can affect gameplay slightly.

 

MW3 & IW5 do not work in aspect ratio whereas bfbc2/bf3 expand screen showing more picture of what you see. (ie the picture does not stretch but rather expands your perspective view).

there is a program called like that. and that will fix you resolution for 16x9 or 16x10

Found a software name widescreen fixer, but I see that it doesn't work with the IW5M , altho it has the M-W-3 profile there. I saw that the software has these profiles for games saved in a folder name plugins, so I wonder if it is possible to copy the M-W-3 profile into a IW5M profile, would it work ?

I got a 1680x1050 screen and I never noticed any issue. I can't understand why people care so much just because the sniper sight shows a bit more than it should to up and down margins.
