I got a 1680x1050 screen and I never noticed any issue. I can't understand why people care so much just because the sniper sight shows a bit more than it should to up and down margins.

I can't do it, editing .dll is far outta my reach atm + source code needed...

funnily cod2 actually did calculate the 'game' aspect ratio based on screen size, just the hud was stretched. I think IW thought it too much of an advantage and made aspect ratios limited to a fixed set in iw3

Found a software name widescreen fixer, but I see that it doesn't work with the IW5M , altho it has the M-W-3 profile there. I saw that the software has these profiles for games saved in a folder name plugins, so I wonder if it is possible to copy the M-W-3 profile into a IW5M profile, would it work ?

rename iw5m.dat to iw5mp.exe and re-run the widescreen fixer

Thank you! Wide screen fixer can find the game now. But i dont how to set. I set the hotkey, but its not work yet.
