before i found out for 4delta1 i was using alterrevolution, so now everytime i launch my 4delta1, alterrev logo is on the console. And i think all the servers are from alterrev, full of hackers -.- ... So does anyone know how to fix this, i have no patience to reinstall mw2 from the begining ( it took me 6 hours). Please help :cry: !!!

Try to see the "Filter" when browsing the serverlist.

If everything is enabled you would be able to see the Legacy Servers with a * before the server name. (The legacy servers are from alterRev ithinkoritstheopposite?). Also: alterRev players can join 4D1's servers, so the hackers can be everywhere, BUT! i think there are servers that alterRev players can join, search them ^^.

You must have a fresh copy of the game. Besides, 6 hours? Is your RAM made out of cookies? xD

Not entirely. (IW4Play is also considered to be a legacy client, and as such their servers are included in our server list. Legacy servers does not mean just 'alterRev', but clients running the old AlterIWnet version (Milestone 1) )

I only can say i miss a lot the old alteriw ... i have 2gb ram, but a shity kinda cd for install it copies the files so slow, and to download a new copy it will take more then 24 hours, my internet speed is only 100kb/s :/

I had 77kb/s (SDSL) about 1 years ago and had a better ping than now. (with ~4.100 kb/s ADSL)

So there should be no problem if he finds enough servers where his ping is fine.

Yeah but you have a PC and I have a laptop which seems to be failing pretty badly now. I can run it fine too, it's just that I have FPS under 60 most of the time on MW2 and MW3 and I can't even run BO on low.

Reason you getting the alterrev logo on the console because you forgot to replace logo.bmp

 

[attachment=0]logo.zip[/attachment]

 

extract it out of this zip file and overwrite it on your mw2 folder.
