How do we record demos ingame and get it working afterwards? i tried lots of methods but doesn't work.

 

My computer isnt powerful enough for fraps i wanna use avidemo ? anyone help

you hit console ~ key beside the 1 key and type in

 

/record namevideogoeshere

 

you can name whatever you want as long as you have /record in there. Now to play, all you gotta do is type in..

 

/demo namevideogoeshere

I already done that, lots of times different games servers and mods. when i play the demo it just freezes ingame? it snot moving or anything?

/devmap mp_mapname; disconnect

/demo asd123; wait 5; demoback 1

god ... no one gives anybody a straight answer nowadays . what you do is go in the console and type " /bind f1 demoback " then at the start of a demo it should play . to record with fraps set the framerate to 60 then go into your console again and type " /bind f2 timescale 0.1 " then record with fraps until the clip is over .

basically just bind commands to F1 , F2 etc .

And if you loaded the demo but it's stuck, type this in the console (open it using ^ or ~):

/demoback

(or /demoback 1, but it should work without the "1")

 

 

/record asd123

/stoprecord

 

/devmap mp_mapname; disconnect

/demo asd123; wait 5; demoback 1

 

Done

No need for devmap
