IW5M: Refresh takes ages; Connecting is slow

Featured Replies

Опубликовано:

Hello everyone, and please excuse me if this is the wrong place to ask, but I have a problem with IW5M.

First of all, after clicking the "Play" button, the "Connecting to online services" box appears and stays there for like 10-20 seconds, and I think that this is suspicious - shouldn't it connect faster?

After clicking the Refresh button in the server browser, and after the "waiting for reply from master server" or something disappears (and I believe that at that point, servers must start appearing), nothing happens until about 20 more seconds, after which servers start appearing.

When trying to connect to server, the "Connecting..." box sometimes stays for a long time.

Why is that happening? The game was telling me that my NAT type is "Moderate", I forwarded some ports and now it says "Open", so it shouldn't be my router blockng anything. I've also never had these problems neither with old alterIW, nor with IW4M - both of them worked brilliantly.

I'd appreciate help, and sorry again if this is the wrong place to ask.
