I'm intending on keeping matchmaking in with only the Face Off maps.

In my opinion there is no need for matchmaking. Better don't waste your time on matchmaking which is laggy and easy to hack (for host). Matchmaking is a console feature, PC players don't need it.

well he made intermw3 with dlc support and server list, i think he is modifying the code to give support with dlc 2 and friend list

aRev have both the alterMW3 and interMW3 sources; if they wanted to release it, they could have looong ago.
