I guess what they mean by steam check is that you will have to apply the 4D1's IW5MP patch on the original game. ( just like TeknoGods) .

Steam will be required to see if the game is original or not.

Don't worry, you wont have to buy or spend money to play.

Lowl. Everyone plays on dedis since this is what ppl are lookin for when they download IW4M/IW5M...it includes a server browsers, implying that this brower shows only dedicated servers. Lobbies suck, they have no restrictions, no ability to be administrated, meaning hackers are free to do whatever the hell they want. Think about it, everyone here plays on dedis.
