What is the goal of IW5M?

The goal of IW5M is to offer a proper online-enabled experience for IW5, featuring well-familiar features such as friends lists, server-side statistics, semi-limited modification support, the upcoming TNet service and downloadable content support.

 

Why IW5M when there's other projects?

The only other project I can think of doesn't offer any modification support by itself, nor does it offer addon MP maps as far as I'm aware.

 

When will IW5M be released?

It's been released already.

But I hope NTA to release a torrent include all files of iw5m because my game folder is deleted and if not deleted , download DLC and iwd files is so cumbersome XD

We don't support warez and piracy, so we will not make a torrent. You on the other hand can always find yourself a nice torrent with full MW3 by the pirates at the bay.

FOV can be changed via

cg_FOV x

replace "x" with any number between 65 and 90.

 

Also, you don't need to add a "/" in IW5M commands.

Don't like XP X4 on every server, I thought that it would be +100 for every kill (I read somewhere about that?!). I love to level up my rank and gun slowly. That's why I liked matchmaking on Aiw...but also I know that, that was a reason for shut down Aiw.

 

And one more thing, I don't like that enemy name shows when you're trying or just looking to get a long distance shot. Its easier to see him. This second 'problem' is more important, I will get over XP X4

There are supposed to be as many servers as are hosted. Its good that you have 200 servers, how many did you want?

This has probably been asked before and im just too stupid to have noticed it... but are you guys planning on re-balancing any of the weapons in game? i know this was just released but it would be cool to know your plans.
