NTA blocked new players deliberately and no he won't disable this. He did this because of the countless leaks of IW5M, through the forums, through users, through outside websites.

I think that if it gets terrible that there are many people without legit Steam mw3 he will shut down the project for so many whiners who want free mw3. I remember him thinking of doing this on the old alterIW.net when there were so many cheaters he was thinking of closing down the project for a while until a stable anti cheat was brought out or something of that nature. Anyways it was only a thought.

I already have the game on steam, ready up and waiting for release. Thank for all this NTA

Since having matchmaking = emulating IW services, it would be in our best interest not to go with that stuff. Few people who play PC prefer matchmaking over dedicated servers.

Not on initial release, no. There's too many things that could go wrong, and more IWDs that servers will be unprepared to have.
