I am atm downloading Call of Duty MW 3 from torrent which is about 2 GB.

Now when i camed here on your main page i saw something about the game being upadated/mainainted with DLC 3.

Exuse me if i have not fully addressed,i registered on the site about 3 days ago.

So,my question is should i should I not download and update MW3 so i can play on FDO ?

Yes i had the on with 13 GB,but RAR found some errors in it. . i can give you the YouTube link to that FDO or IW5 how u call it,to see.

In the tutorial it says that everything u need is in those 2 GB,then u start GetMW 3.exe and let it update.

There was a batch someone put out during the alterMW3 period that deleted all of the SP content and cut it down quite a bit. It wasn't 2GB, though. More like 7-9GB or so, before the DLCs.

Yeah, the DLC alone is more than that with updated assets and the maps themselves. I don't know what you could possibly be getting.

Delete it... just download it from Steam -> Tools

2GB is not enough, I'm sure.

Just download the game with Steam. 2GB = Three DLCs pack !

Also, those three maps aren't available ATM.

Reading it now .

It's downloading actually 15-16 GB in the updater.

So basicly it's quite the same as downloading the game and using the stand alone launcher from FDO.

 

Also i found on my steam account in library/tools IW5 Dedicated Servers,what does that stand for ?

its the dedi for mw3, basically downloads all needed and updated files that work with iw5m

Well yeah,no point of downloading now 16 GB ima stick with this,its a good thing i can cancel it and resume afterwards.

Ima download DOTA 2 now,but see ya tommorow or the day after tommorow in game !
