You need to have MW2 on steam, and the you can download the client files which enables you to use IW4, but also have your steam profile set to public.

The reason it exists is so you can have the MISSING dedicated servers back in MW2, so it has a purpose.

The difference between fourDeltaOne (this one) and the Steam version is: fourDeltaOne has dedicated servers, mod support, more maps and more
