HD 5870 is just no (I had a 5450, I bought a GTX 560 -at that time discounts of 660 weren't out, dammit.-).

16 gigs are epic, wish I had so many. DDR3 or 2? Frequency?

i5 3570k is pretty damn good as well.

    anyway, old games can still look quite nice, GTA3 at native resolution with 16xQ CSAA and a custom 16:9 HUD modification hook, mmmmmmmmm

    RAM is DDR3, that should be obvious because it's on a new platform.

    Why is HD5870 a no? It's a LOT stronger than your HD5450, you can't judge Radeons by that.

    isn't there like DNAS and such crap? sounds like a huge workaround + most PS2 online services are unavailable these days.

    Afaik you only need Net plugin and patch the game with DNAS patcher, you should be able to play online, anyway, as NTA said, most PS2 online servers are down :(
