So, I have been having ''issues'' with my damn iPhone since I (had to) restore it. You know those volume buttons ? Well the + volume button doesn't function properly, as it isn't recognized from time to time, and some minutes/hours go by and it magically works, then dies again. I tried the headphone quickfix, again it worked for a couple of minutes, and I even tried the airplane mode hotfix, and yet again it worked for a short period of time ._.

 

This worked fine before the restore, do you think it's a problem with iOS 6 ? Also if you have any suggestions on what to do, please reply.

 

Oh, I also tried to restore it to 5.1.1 with iTunes, while it was in DFU mode, and Pwned DFU mode, and iTunes gave some errors, any ideas ?

Your phone is certainly damaged...

Actually no, it may be a software problem, or an iTunes problem putting in DFU.

I may suggest to fix the error code first, then downgrading to 5.1.1 using normal DFU (pwned may not work), then see if the problem is fixed. If not, re-google that error code (lolz), and fix it again (or not).

Then upgrade again to iOS 6, try to redownload it too. A friend of mine had an issue in his iOS 6 iPhone 4S, because of a download problem, he just redownloaded and went fine.

Let us know if you fix...

No, it never happend on iOS 5. Trying to downgrade now, weird thing is that my HOSTS file had the apple IP blocked, you know it had the # in front :roll:

Okay, so I fixed the 3194 error(unblocked the IP), but now I get the 1602 error, with both Pwned DFU mode and normal DFU mode. Any ideas ?

Actually, Android isn't really bad, Ice Cream Sandwich was good, I don't know much about Jelly Bean, but seems cool (respectively, ICS is 4.0 and J... no, full name's better. And... Jelly Bean is 4.1).

Anyways, iOS is definitely better than Android. My 4S performs way better than my friend's S3.

By the way, for the 1602 error... Google is your friend (or support.apple.com maybe? lulz)

Yep it's old, but the problem is the same. I fixed a 1601 problem doing this, on my 4G iPod.

Tried it, doesn't do shit, my iTunes just crashes with a 1600 (try a diffrent USB port, yet I tried all ports ._. ). Also, I used iReb(which fixed some errors), used TinyUmbrella's TSS Server, uploaded my SHSH's, nothing works. Tried two diffrent 5.1.1's ._. any ideas ?

After that, reinstall iTunes, redownloading it of course. I still think that's the problem... if not, that's just your iPhone fault. Apple Support is painful but yeah.
