iPhone is shit ? I've had it for around a year now. My dad has had an android for a couple of months. How many problems have I had ? Almost none. My dad ? lol don't ask. Which OS is more smooth ? iOS wins. No, the iPhone isn't shit.

I would try to help you with your problem Ghosty, but I have no knowledge with iDevices.

So, I have been having ''issues'' with my damn iPhone since I (had to) restore it. You know those volume buttons ? Well the + volume button doesn't function properly, as it isn't recognized from time to time, and some minutes/hours go by and it magically works, then dies again. I tried the headphone quickfix, again it worked for a couple of minutes, and I even tried the airplane mode hotfix, and yet again it worked for a short period of time ._.

 

This worked fine before the restore, do you think it's a problem with iOS 6 ? Also if you have any suggestions on what to do, please reply.

 

Oh, I also tried to restore it to 5.1.1 with iTunes, while it was in DFU mode, and Pwned DFU mode, and iTunes gave some errors, any ideas ?

do try send it to apple to fix the problem?

Re download iOS6 and try again. I would of done that in the first place. It also sounds like a firmware issue. eg: iOS5 worked perfectly, you updated, and now your phone doesn't work. Apple might release an update if it is a firmware bug.

Restore iOS 6 ? I did that, numerous times, sadly :/ nothig works, will try to reupdate on my dads PC, if it doesn't work, I'm taking it to the provider.

I mean, not sure how it is in english version of iTunes, but something like: Config. your iPhone as new, meaning it will delete anything on it and force you to install a clean version of iOS6. In that case, delete your actual iOS6 from your pc, and let iTunes redownload and ripristinate it by itself. If that does not work, you can't do anything more, it's your iPhone issue (I am sleepy, sorry if I made mistakes, duh)

Just like that. But I guess once you restored iOS6 like this, you can use on of your old backups. If using a backup will cause you the same error... then just keep it with your data and send it to Apple or whoever you know will fix it.
