Hey guys, i have a little problem.

I start the Game, I'm waiting.. and than: ''Error during initialization: Steam must be running for initial authentication to succeed. Pleas start Steam and restart the game to continue.''

Go to your IW5M folder, there should be a .STEAMSTART (that's the extension) file. Delete it.

Want to fix it? Delete iw5mp.exe

Then there won't be a chance for you to start the wrong executable.

Well I'm sorry to tell you that IW4M and IW5M are using steam for certain functionnalities as friends and overlay, also hating steam is stupid there's nothing wrong with steam except that it takes some memory in you ram...
