Hello users, if you're experiencing your keys being reset then there's a problem. You're either:

a) Using a hack.

Using a mod that changes your classes or anything in IW5M.

c) You USED a mod that changed ANY part of your IW5M client such as MassTumor's elite class changer.

If you're using either those stop and reset them as it's the reason why. Restart your IW5M without anything "extra" running then go to your Controls and fix them. If you still try to change anything while in game it will be reset AGAIN.

DO NOT CHEAT.

not sure your right, possibly servers can mess up binds, happens to me a lot and i dont hack. just reset the controls.

I reset it multiple times already... and not just from servers.

I've got the same problems, with the controls for vote yes, vote no, melee, and killstreaks being unbinded and not only that, my resolution's changed and my crosshair is back (which I prefer to stay gone)

 

Yet I've never used any hacks, unless winning so often is classified as one.......

Supposedly even the EL!TE trainer can cause such problems. Are you using it ?

Yeah I even used it for the first time and gave the issue. It's come to my conclusion anything that was modded will reset you.

You cant mess up binds from cheating, im pretty sure of it. It can happen i think if your corrupt stuff by the elite title and clan tag

This. Also, head up to MPGH, they will tell you what causes it

if server messes binds up, set config_mp.cfg to Read-Only.

Wait, I forgot to mention that in addition to some keys being unbind and smoe settings being changed, I never used any hacks, cheats, or even use the Elite trainer.......

so how can we disable the elite trianer ? XD ???

Don't run it and change anything that it modified (custom class, camos, title/emblems)

Haven't tested it but it should still be overrided as read only "sets" even if it's read-only. That's only for setting dvars/bind

Just happened to me. Not cheating at all.

I was only on my server and i rejoined it 50+ times an had no issues and the 51st time my binds got all messed up.

 

it probably has something to do with Dvars, i was messing around with dvars and then my binds got messed up and thats the only thing i was doing

Just to let you know. I used MassTumor's Trainer and my controls fine, no "reset"

Maybe because I have set config file to Read-Only... :roll:

rebinding code will be fixed in the next release
