Can someone save me from my curiosity of wanting to check out ALTEREV?

 

I am playing the FourDelta's version right now, and I like it. NTAuthority is here. I here Alterev is a wannabe fourdelta. The servers are decent. I see more hackers on Steam's MW3.

 

I just want to get rid of any doubts and my curiosity of Alterev's version. The only thing I miss is the "Play Game" match making where I could play with random players with a 0 percent modded server. Not sure if Alterev has it or not.

 

So anyway, lay it on me and put my curiosity to rest please.

Are you talking about IW4 or IW5? It's in the IW4 section, but you mention IW5...

Anyways, aRev doesn't have IW5 and "their" IW4 is the same, except some features, like aCI2, because that's closed source. There's really no reason to try it.

oh no. I was just saying how I like Delta's version because I have not met any hackers yet. I was saying I see more hacker's on Steam's MW3 than Delta's MW2.

 

Can you tell me what aCI2 stands for?

And yes, AlterRev has matchmaking, haven't seen too many players though.

Emulating it would be illegal, that's why it has been removed. Servers are better anyway.

And when I use a matchmakinghack? Then I can change the timelimit and points... Like in aIW

I have used Alterrev's IW4 it is essentially the old alteriw IW4 rebranded and the master server changed

and m2 is essentially iw4m. i prefer 4D1 and the only thing i use of alterrev is revops.

Rule 11 - Do not purposefully avoid word censors, especially regarding trademarks. Do not reply to threads if they have a censored word in the title, unless you change it.

I just have trouble finding a server. I want a server that keeps the game unchanged. My 2 favorite servers are pretty good. But one removed pain killers, and the other removes Tactical Knife and Heartbeat sensor.

You could either make your own server, or try other servers.

Matchmaking with a decent amount of players is easily available on Steam's MW2, if you wish to play the game unchanged.

 

I think the OP has gotten his answer regarding the 'AlterRevolution' project.
