CAn someone help me editing a dll? i found a mod for my server but i want tochange some things in it, can someone help me please???

its a mod that saves your position pressing 6 and teleporting to that position pressing 3 i just want to change that keys to another one and delete the text on ingame screen saying: to save position press3 and to load press 6

As it's C# you can easily decompile it. But I would say fing the author and ask him, as It's his source code.

1) Well, google is all you can do, try looking where you downloaded the mod.

2) If you find the author, Ask for the source, see if he gives it too you.

Are you trying to modify the purpose of this dll to your transporting ability in game? Change the keys so others dont know what you are using to transport ?

I thought it was just releasing decompiled source code as your own binary or source is illegal. I'm pretty sure you can do if for personal use like he is describing but I'm not a law professional in all of the countries represented here.

Well, if you change keys, one of them will still do 2 things at once. You can't define new keys afaik

Well, if you change keys, one of them will still do 2 things at once. You can't define new keys afaik

yes but there's lots of unused keys.
