You can just try deleting "caches.xml" file. As this fixes updater errors most times.

Delete caches.xml in your IW5M folder, and disable your firewall and Anti-Virus programs..

If it's a big error box message then that means something blocking LaunchIW5M.exe from accessing the internet like THiLaN said..
