when i host my server with mods certain mods other players need to download and it does not let them download the mods and they end up timing out can anyone fix this?

if you dont want players downloading mods drag the folders out of the modiwd and drop them in your mod folder wat ever its called

It should not download it, if the name bagins with z_svr_

they are kept in mods in the mw2 folder

So, did you rename it to "z_svr_gungame.iwd"?

ill try that now

it remade the original file wif the original name and overwrited the one i changed

hey cfour im trying to join ace165's server and it will load to a certain point then says downloading 1 of 1 or 1 of 2 0%/0Kbs and doesnt go any further then after about 1 minute it comes up with an error number which is 0x00000007 and then i have to exit any ideas???

Same problem here, it dous it with every mod , so the problem is not the mod.

you need to mod on the client side for it to work.
