I once did a post milestone announcement on some other forum, but then again I never posted anything remotely useless back in those days.

1000 is a milestone when you are putting thought into your posts, or using your time to help out around the place. The reason many people don't consider it to be special anymore is that so many people just run around the board spamming it up.
