Before the update for the latest DLCs I was able to start the singleplayer with an iw5sp.exe and a steam_api.dll I had. Now, since the update, I'm getting an error "exceeded maximum number of leaderboard assets" or something like that. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, thanks guys. I just did a bit of googling and found a solution that doesn't conflict with iw5m installation.

We all know how many people play IW5M "Legally". Otherwise they would have no other reason to come to 4d1. Those who tell you "I prefer" are either lying. Or they were VAC banned like i was. It's bs that VAC, I didnt do anything wrong. This place is my way to stick it to the man.

Err, I own it on Steam, played over 100 hours on it, not VAC banned, came here as I prefer this way more then Steam's version, happy now ?

I'm not gonna replay that in a hurry." As for the multiplayer, I first played it using T-gods steamless loader and then came here. I'm just a casual player though - I play it when I'm sick of getting my ass kicked in Max Payne 3! It's OK but I've always preferred Black-Ops multiplayer. I got a bunch of friends that were playing on Steam, they came here just to participate on a small tournament, and now they won't go back to Steam because they found out that IW5M has way less cheaters when comparing to the Steam version, and they have better control over their servers by using b3 and running scripts.

The only thing that makes them play on Steam nowadays is IW5M downtimes.

Tried that and it's absolute shite. Still waiting for an update (for over 6 months now) to get it working. Those guys are messy amateurs compared to 4d1.

As far as I know it's not. Very few games are. I guess there's not many players on the mac platform and that's what makes it cheaper.

It's a pity 4d1 don't want to touch it. I suppose they've no legitimate reason to - it already has ranked dedicated servers. I have all the alterOps files and DLC etc. but they're useless to me now.

Well, maybe we don't want problems with Activision (because they might attack 4D1 again).

Also, I don't know why Black Ops should have support, I mean, we have servers, mods support .. what else would you add except a better

optimization for CPU (which is impossible I do think).

I got legit steam version.. it's full of cheaters and there are no ranked dedi's.. I practically haven't played on steam since IW5M was released.. Only start it up when the 4d1 servers are down, and then I usually rage quit after being aimbottet to death 7-8 times in a row..
