Hello everybody, i'm Guma. It's not an introduction, but you all may have already noticed i'm a newb.

Yes, i do like playing MW3, and every noob has lots of questions. There's many rules i've didn't knew and never found anywhere.

I've asked on IRC when's the server gonna be up, it's forbidden to ask this question but i didn't knew, because again, i'm a newb, and in matter of seconds i've got kicked. That's okay, i've asked why was i kicked and Admin Sophos called me a fucktard.

I've told i'm not a fucktard, watch language and got kicked the second time. ("dont tell me what to do")

 

Is that what new people should expect? Ask a question and get dumb-raped? And then kicked?

I'm kinda disappointed :/

 

Maybe i shouldn't ever just putted my nose on MW3 and still kept playing Quake, Half-life.

(And yes, i know there's many of noobs asking the same question but that was not something i have expected, answer is cute and welcoming, but gettin' called a fucktard is SICK)

P.S - I'm not a guest/total noob with misspelled grammar asking for the same dumb question and crying on forums, i'm a normal person that likes playing games and programming, and i'm just telling my disappointment.

I got to agree that kick can arrive very quickly on IRC.

But you have to know that IRC is SO MUCH spammed with the SAME question "when it izzzz upppz plzz" all day long.

When servers are down, IRC's topic is changed and says so. Also, there's often a automated message, when you arrive on IRC, that tells you

that servers are down. That's why people shouldn't ask for ETA. Don't be sad or anything, there's a lot of a good people over IRC, but try to understand

And Sophos isn't any admin/moderator. Just to clarify.

Don't worry about it, being called a 'fucktard', or generally insulted/kicked is accepted as normal around here. We do sometimes get annoyed by the questions, so we do those sorts of things. Get used to it and it's fine.

 

Also, Sophos isn't an admin/moderator, he just has the access to kick.

Some people which have access to kick are mentally disabled, don't worry, just ignore it.
