i dont think so....but i do think that if you get caught...you shouldnt be charged thousands for one illegal download

some pirates wouldn't buy the things they are pirating, anyway. so it's not that much of a deal, for my part. dunno how many people there are who pirate and buy the things.

i pirate games if there is no way to try them out before i buy them(or if i have no money for games)...then if the game has a lot of replay value, i usually buy it

ThePirateBay is fully legal (in theory) since the website is not hosting any copyrighted materials. Just magnetlinks which is (as stated above) legal in sweden.

that is why it is piratebay.se "se"[sweden] earlier it was ".org" but now... it is .se since Sweden made file sharing legal..

well there is some debate goin on around here about this.. well in theory with a couple of tricks[courtesy my local newspaper] using this law we can make piracy legal by sharing an already bought material... with others.... so using some of these things to "bend" the laws because as the law stated[i don't remember what how exactly it was written] that file sharing was legal in a way sharing already bought content with others was LEGAl... so yeah in a sense piracy is legal...

is it wrong? well maybe , but they(companies) will lalways make money of music,movies and games wich is quite frankly undeserved money.A couple guys make a ww2 game and earn milions(cod 1,2 case), so im gonna quote what Bob Marely said "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty."
