Mine does this to sometimes all i do is log off my windows user account and log back in and it should work.

I was getting steam must be running to play this game but i notice that i cant access to http://iw4.prod.fourdeltaone.net/ always getting 403 Forbidden it is my isp i think but i tried with vpn to run the game via tor and the game work without any errors but is that allowed to use tor or vpn to play ? also can you guys please change some settings in authentication server? that might fix this problem also how to switch to full screen ? my game running in windows mod.

I have called my ISP and they say it cannot be changed to static blah blah blah i hope 4d1 can allow dynamic IP addy so i can play :cry:

I have an idea... Delete your 4d1 files, reinstall, then make sure NOTHING is blocking it from the internet... I know it sounds weird, but try it. Alternatively make sure you DONT have steam running, and that you AREN'T launching it from steam. Use the Shortcut in the Start Menu.

Hello i have heeded your advice and reinstalled 4D1 and made sure that it isn't being blocked from the internet and i still get the same message from before

P.S steam wasn't running

Have you tried putting your PC in a DMZ, then deleting EVERYTHING, then install a clean SKID version of the game, and then installing FDO, and then launch the game with admin privileges and Win-XP Compatibility mode? If not, try it.

I have no knowledge of all that u just stated except for the run as admin i do need a tutorial

It Doesnt. Even if it is a problem with the NP server, there are still ways to mess around and avoid it.

I get the same, but atleast it game me full version of MW3 for some reason, after i click OK on the error, it opens a steam window and says: "Thanks for playing Modern Warefare 3!"
