connect ipadress : port

just typing ip and port?

you need to look up your ip (google whats my ip)

 

and i believe the port is defaulted to 27015 (correct me if im wrong)

how i write the ports ? do :xxxxx after the ip ?

 

Example:

 

Connect 192.168.1.199:27015

 

192.168.1.199 = IP address of the server

207015 = Port #

 

: = Split between the IP and PORT.

i do all this 8 parts and now i do the ip to connect and i see connnecting ... and this doesnt get in

Yup, so 'ip.here:port.here'

When you go in game press the ~(`) button and write "connect xx.xx.xxx.xxx:xxxx(ports, Default= 27016/27017/27019).
